As you can see I just moved into a new house and was worried about my desktop and its wellbeing. It looks like my fears were confirmed last night when I plugged it in and tried to turn it on.

To give a better idea of what I'm seeing when I turn the computer on; After I hit the power button, the motherboard splash screen comes up and promts me to hit TAB to go to POST, or DEL to go to BIOS, or just hit nothing and boot normally. This is where the problem occurs. The computer hangs on all of these three choices.

Here is a picture of the splash screen and then another picture of what happens when I click either TAB or DEL.

Here is a list of hardwawre that is being used:

EVGA GeForce GTX 280 Graphics Card 800W ATX Power Supply

Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
3 2x2 DDR3 1066 (Three Channel) Sticks of RAM
Super WriteMaster CD/DVD Drive
One Wireless Card & One Ethernet Card

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I tried taking that small circular battery out to reset the BIOS but that didn't solve the problem. I don't think I was using a RAID setup because I only have one hard drive.
