Windows Image Backup on Second Hard Drive

I have a new Windows 7 OS on a new harddrive. My second harddrive is from my old computer. I have no access issues.

I purposely saved a system image backup file on my second harddrive. Can I restore my system using the backup file on my second harddrive? If so, how?

It can't be that complicated, but Windows 7 running off the first harddrive will not detect the backup file on the second harddrive.

Neither hard drives are external.

It's Windows 7 Professional. The install CD was simply an OEM burned onto a DVD. I am 85% sure it has no such capabilities. I'll check soon. In the meantime, have any suggestions?

I did not solve this problem. Instead, I got what files I needed from my third hard drive, and will be placing them where needed instead of doing a system restore. I appreciate the comments and help though!
