hi, i have a pny geforce gtx 470 performance edition (1.25 gb) and despite being able to install the latest drivers for it, the control panel says i am not using a display connected to an nvidia gpu? (also GPU-Z says it doesn't have a bios anymore)

(i have corsair GS700w modular PSU if anyopne is wondering)

Solution
Uninstall all the drivers related to NVidia and registry values with this :

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Take out the GPU from the case/cabinet. Clean it carefully. Reseat it properly.
Then install the latest driver. See if it can be recognised. Else the GPU has gone bad.
