i hear people saying that hd 7950 and hd 7970 dont have much difference..
is that really true
i bought recently sapphire hd 7950 boost 3gb and wanted to know

(a) that is it really powerful like 7970 or some way behind it

(b) my sapphire trixx utility tool says that gpu clock is 925 and memory clock 1250 but the box says gpu clock 850 with PowerTune Dynamic Boost rises to 925 MHz on the engine.

(c) is my card better than SAPPHIRE HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 OC with Boost VAPOR-X

Both AMD and NVidia have included utilities in their newest graphics cards which allow the cards to overclock themselves when there's thermal headroom available. Your GPU will nominally operate at 850Mhz, but under select workloads that aren't particularly stressful it will jump up to 925Mhz. This can improve performance in some conditions.

Those two links are the same, but the factory OC version is probably a bit better. You may be able to OC yours to match it.
