How to install an SSD and HDD?

I need help I got a HDD in my PC already and I bought an SSD I want to transfer my OS onto the SSD I got a ASRock z77 extreme 4 I want to have them as two separate drives so they don't fail.

OS is not transferable. You have to install OS on SSD. Make sure you leave the HDD unplugged when installing OS on SSD. After you finished installing OS plug the HDD back. If you want to boot from SSD than make it first drive on boot order in BIOS. Now you have both drives with OS.
