have Asus P5KPL-AM-IN motherboard and Celeron 430 1,8 GHz processor with integrated GMA 3100.
I would like to know which CPU and GPU are the most suitable for the best performance out of this motherboard.
I have 4gb DDR2 RAM already.

I would like to play some newer games on low-med, but usualy just some online MMOs.

and my budget for upgrade is up to 200-250 dollars

*******Note: I want this to last 2 years and I don't want to upgrade it.

I would recommend the E8400 Dual Core 2 CPUthat works at 3Ghz and pair it up with a card like Radeon 7790? perhaps? or a 7770? depends of what budget will you be left at. But I would not go any higher with the CPU because since you will use it for the rest couple of years I don't think going...

i don't believe CPU are made for that motherboard any more. so i would say any second had Intel core 2 due Quad Core CPU in the intel 775 Socket (you might need to update bios first) and maybe an AMD HD7750 or HD7770.

but i wold look at the cost off the cpu and see if you better of just putting the money into a new motherboard and CPU and RAM and selling off the old bits.
