So basically, I want to know how to set my desktop to allow me to save all of my less important files on a hdd and my important ones on my ssd. Is there a way to move my libraries over to a different drive and have them act the same ways? Like how games often save in My Documents.if i could move the folder to a different disk, and have games still save in the folder.

Solution
Yes, very easy to do so. Just go to C:\users\*username*\ all the folders should be under there. We'll take "My Documents" for example, right-click on the folder and go to Properties. You should see a "Location" tab, just change the drive letter for your HDD, you should get a message asking if you want the files to be moved to the new location and you need to say yes. Just repeat for every other folders you want.

Usually, I do it for "Documents", "Pictures", "Music", "Video" and "Desktop", these are the most important ones.

So this wont affect games that want to save in my documents? They'll go right over and save in the new destination?

Exactly. I'd be really surprised if it would affect any of your games. Usually this works flawlessly. Anyways you can easily revert the changes if necessary. If it creates problem you could also modify the save paths inside your games, but I'd be surprised you'd have to do that.

I did see some odd software sometimes recreating the original path, but even if it happened this doesn't really break anything and this must happen in less than 1% of the scenarios.
