So i had the XFX Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3 and it sucked to me so i returned it, i went to BestBuy and they had a deal for 2 cards:

Geforce GTX 650 1GB DDR5 and a XFX Radeon 7750 2GB DDR3 for about the same price but the Radeon 7750 comes with 4 free games, Sleeping Dogs, Hit Man and 2 others so i figured as a bundle the Radeon would be a better price.. what do you guys think? Also I have a Antec 450 Watt PSU would that be ok for ether card?

Solution
The psu will work. As for the cards I have the ddr3 model and honestly at this point its shooting yourself in the foot getting that card, 2Gb ddr3 is less than 1 Gb ddr5. If you dont want to have to upgrade later the 650 would be better, or if you can upgrade sooner you can get the 7750 and the free games and then install a new card later. It can run games like Starcraft 2 on ultra, and fallout NV on Medium with 30+ Fps. What is your budget on this?

$135 is my budget and it was from a BestBuy Gift Card so i cant go anywhere else, also here's the big question.... will this card be able to play Ps4 type games, "Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, etc." on at least medium settings? or will the DDR5 1GB make that HUGE of a difference? Basically i don't want to upgrade for at least 6 months to a year.. then i plan on getting a bigger PSU with a $300-$400 card.

Owhf, would've been an OK deal but the HD 7750 gets some serious bottlenecking issues on DDR3, even if it has 2 GB of VRAM. The performance drop from GDDR5 @ 1 GB to DDR3 @ 2 GB is almost at 20%. I recommend getting the GTX 650 even with the game bundle that comes with the HD 7750 simply because of the performance gap between these two cards. That's just me but if you really want the game bundle, well that's actually the only reason you should go for the Radeon. :wahoo:

That would depend on what resolution you would be playing. :) I have been able to max out most games on a GTX 650 @ 1366x768. But I doubt it would be able to do that if I went with a resolution higher than that.

It wont be a HUGE difference, but it would be more worth while in the long run. And since you are limited to bestbuy, if you can order online this would be the best bet from them http://www.bestbuy.com/site/XFX+-+Radeon+HD+7770+Graphic+Card+-+1000+MHz+Core+-+1+GB+GDDR5+SDRAM+-+PCI-Express+3.0+x16/1306800936.p?id=mp1306800936&skuId=1306800936 As for next gen games, it will run them, maybe on medium. Its hard to tell at the moment. The 7750 is the borderline of gaming gpus. Anything lower is not really gaming.

I play mostly MMO's & MMORPG's and BF3 "but i want BF4", I'm just hesitant to go to best buy and do another trade in.. this will be my third time returning a graphic card. I got originally a Geforce GTX 620 but it was horrible to me then i got the Radeon 6670 and it lagged for some reason. Then I got this 7750 with the game bundle and it runs smooth and my MMO's are running on max settings and its nice.. I'm just concerned i will get the Geforce 650 and regret it or the Radeon 7770
