3 Monitor Setup Question

This might have been already asked before, somewhere.. but hear me out.

I've been planning on getting a 3 monitor setup for quite some time now. I'm planning on getting 2 addition monitors @ 1366x768. Yeah. It's quite cheap, I know. But I'm on a budget right here. :wahoo:

My question is, what video card would be enough to run such a setup? I've been looking at the GTX 660 Ti (haven't seen any 760s here in my country) but would that be enough? Or do I need to SLI/Crossfire for this? I'm looking forward to playing at least at high settings with the current- and next-gen games (not necessarily maxed out, just enough eye candy) and I'm fine with hitting 30 FPS since I don't really play online and stuff.

Solution
You will be fine it will work pretty well I run 3 1080 monitors on a single 670 with settings mostly on high sometimes higher (Dirt series Max settings) sometimes lower (Crysis 3 ect.) so go for it.

Thent
with nvidia cards you can just setup a triple monitor system using any of the ports on the card i do believe but the performance will not be great, you will most likely need sli which requires 2 monitors on the primary card and the third on the secondary card.

Owfh, is that so? :??: Even at that lower resolution? Errr.

What if I bump it up to a GTX 670? Or a cheaper HD 7950? I'm trying to avoid going SLI/Crossfire as much as possible but if there's no other way to do it then I guess I'll just have to go get it.

At that resolution, the monitors have to be ancient and are going to have huge bezels and look like crap trying to game on. For multi-monitor gaming, you need the thinest bezel possible. I'd wait and save and 1 nice big screen.

Now if it's 3 screens for just working, then that's different, but gaming, meh, I wouldn't even bother with those screens.

Haha! That's quite fine with me. I'm fine with playing from what would seem like the inside of a prison cell.

Great! :wahoo: Thanks, for all your help, guys. :)
