I am currently building a very small system (in a very small case) and above my CPU, there is no more than +- 28mm of space to fit a cooler. Now I'm trying to find a cooler thats under 25mm high so I can fit it under there.
The CPU I will be using is an i5 3470 (which will be undervolted, and underclocked if necessary). It will be used, together with an HD7750 as a small, low power gaming pc).
I've been looking around for a while, but can't find a cooler that's small enough. I was also wondering if maybe a passive heatsink would be enough to keep the CPU cool. I can place the graphics card (which has two fans) right above the CPU, so I can imagine it could create a decent airflow to help in cooling the cpu as well.
All help (suggested cpu coolers or advice) is welcome!
