my laptop is so slow and i want to make it run faster i try ever thing but its still so slow so i want it to be faster

You might want to try the following to troubleshoot to if it is a hardware problem or software problem.
1) run chdsk on your harddrive to see if you have any bad sectors
2) try degfraging your harddrive
3) check to see in your task monitor if you are using alot of ram or cpu cycles
4) if using a lot of ram try uninstalling some of your unused software
You can try some software fix some of these problem if you dont want to do it manually. Checkout http://solvingpcproblems.com

Well, there are a couple of alternatives...

1: you could buy a couple of rockets and duct-tape them to it then set them off.
2: you could attached them to an airplan and see it fly at over 500mph
3: you could buy an SSD of at least 250GB, swap your old HDD for it, do a clean windows 7 64bit ultimate installation and there you. Be aware that, because of the use of SSDs, the data on your computer might not endure farther than 5 to 7 years, so... store it away safely.

Until you get an ssd, I suggest first off going into the windows control panel, and uninstalling unused programs. Then I would download CCleaner from piriform.com and Auslogics DiskDefragmenter. Run CCleaner first, then use the Disk Defragmenter to defragment and optimize (click on the arrow where it says defragment and/or analyze) your laptop. Other than that SSD or SSHD, more RAM, or new laptop is all I can suggest.
