i lose internet connection all of a sudden

all of a sudden when im connected to the wireless internet in my house, I randomly lose the internet connection and i have to restart my computer to get internet access, i have tried plugging the usb WIFI adapter in and out many times but nothing works.

any ideas of how to fix this problem?

Well, the antenna quality in USB adapters tends to be poor, and what may be a part of your problem. Are your connection problems alleviated at all by re-orienting the PC? Is there anything causing interference between your PC and the router, such as a fluorescent light, motorized appliance, or anything that cycles on and off like a laser printer?
