I know a lot of vids on Youtube but the thing is that.. will it run well as a console. DLing stuff on torrents are kinda scary.

LOL : ) I have a PS3 but I just want to know if there is such an emulator that exsist. It's like having a PS3.. you still want to play PS2 games.

ps3/ps4 doesn't even compare to a PC. Far too much of a difference, with the pc far superior. and pirating software can very well get you arrested (it's illegal). Companies have been cracking down on ppl.

Use google, will save both you and every one else time. My guess is that no there is not a PS3 emulator, way too difficult to emulate at this time and would probably run like mud.
Like I said above, the answer is no. There are some experiments but none of them are even close to working much less playable. There are simply too many technical differences between the architectural designs of the PS3 and IBM PC for it to ever be anything more than a pipedream.
