problems with upgrading from me to xp!

My computer restarts when trying to copy files for windows xp. My computer parts are fine by the way. Oh, and I am using a gateway 9300 pro.

That system has pretty much 0 chance or running XP, the last drivers for it were NT, 98 and ME. If you want to use that laptop, re-install Me or put 98 on it.

Hi

How much RAM does your PC have ?
How big is the hard disk ?
what CPU speed in MHz or GHz ?

Maybe there is more than one Gateway 9300 pro
as the one I found had 32MB of RAM and hard disks up to 12GB



Windows ME died out about 2001 (Millenium or Mistake Edition ?)
