sabertooth 990fx r2.0 boot problem

hi! i have a problem where the motherboard boots only sometimes. and the other times the cpu LED comes on. the machine dosent shut down by itself everything sounds like its running but there is no diplay

Motherboard - sabertooth 990fx r2.0
cpu - AMD fx 4170
Ram - transcend (4gbx2) 1333mhz
GPU - AMD hd 7950
PSU - 600W

i am assuming at this point that there is a compatibility issue with the RAM, ive bought new RAM and will know if that is the case soon... any other ideas will be appreciated?

I couldn't do what you said because i couldn't boot into the bios or see even if it did, but i replaced the RAM with a more powerful RAM from the qualified vendor list and it worked. Anyways thank you for your help!

the actual model is Transcend JetRam 8GB DDR3 240 Pin 1333MHz PC3-10600 DIMM Desktop Memory Module and i have installed the sticks in DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2.
