When I run chkdsk /f C: from Safe Mode w/ Command Prompt I get this message over & over on reboot.

Is the ONLY thing this can mean is a bad hard drive? It's relatively new so I'm surprised - even though I know it can happen.

That being said, I'm trying to determine if this message can mean anything but the drive is on its last leg & what else can I do to test it.

This is all coming from a Windows 7 Black Screen of Death scenario.

Thanks!
