Anyone can confirm if these 2 above mix , because after trying installing the Corsair H55 Hydroseries onto the Asus B85M-G, doesnt seem to match, the backplate fitting ring of Corsair H55 Hydroseries fits justly as seen in an earlier thread below

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/283658-29-corsair-b...
though when trying to install the pump the black little squared blocks next to the cpu mounting bracket starting with serialnr P...

seem to block the pump and front bracket to install it correctly onto the cpu bracket.
Anyone can confirm if these 2 actually work together

To be honest, no idea....any reason in particular for this liquid cooler, just asking because there are numerous fan based that are much better and cost less, this isn't much better than a Intel stock fan

liquid for small overclock till 4gh if ever needed, should be less noise, less dust i supposed.
The standard stock airfan included fitted just fine onto the cpu bracket, just wonderin bout the h55 if it will ever fit now i have it.

No worries.
I returned it to the shop and will wait to see if they can find a solution for it.
Once it has returned Ill post the final conclusion if these 2 components actually mix together.:)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg)

Yes, i should have opted for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO in the first place.
My rig has not returned yet, so, if the corsair h55 should fail to install by the people in the shop, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO will be my next choice for aircooling the cpu.
