Hello, im asking if you can have 1 powerline adapter from the router, connect to two otherones in my house...

I have a very spotty wifi in my corner (3 stories away) and i currently have a powerline adapter hooked up to my dish hopper in the living room, can i purchase another one and hook that up in my room along with a network switch? or do i have to hook up 2 seperate adapters?

I believe you can add an additional one of the same model. They sell individual units otherwise they should only be sold in pairs, but double check the manufacturer website.

okay, i don't know if i can get a hold of another one, the dish guy set it up. Why wouldn't a different brand work, is there a different signal sent?

different brands might use different encryption and therefore will not be compatible.

never tried to mix brands or devices of the same brand
