Hi everyone !

My Samsung SyncMaster 920NW LCD have only a VGA output port, buy my video
card(ATI Radeon X1200) has a DVI output-port. So my question is does using a DVI-D to VGA adapter will result in better quality? Or, do I definitely have to get a DVI monitor to get the full benefit of the DVI port and ultimately the video card ?

Thanks.

Well there is a quality diference from dvi to vga, but this is relly only noticeble at a 1080p resolution and higher.

Since you have a 19inch you probably wont notice much diference, the adapter probably wont do anything.
I sugest you dont buy anything, becouse you probably wont need.
