According to pcpartpicker, ur pc on full load would only use about more than half than that.
I would recommend the PSU i put in your build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1nlfL
You will save about less than $40, which you could put towards something like more ram (8gb is more than enough though)
How did you see this? I was told I need 650W so idk. Maybe a sales pitch from the guys @ micro center when I went in awhile ago.
I'm not denying what you're saying, I just am uninformed
Just on top of your build on the right it says estimated wattage, that guy must of obviously trying to squeeze some money out of you. Don't believe anyone who works in a store, they are probably working on commission, so trust the internet more. PCPartpicker has always been reliable for me when it comes to things like estimated wattage and compatibility.
Your pc will consume about 368w, 550 x 0.8 = 440, so you will have plenty of wattage left for some upgrades, 650w psu is really not needed unless you are going to upgrade the hell out of your pc later on. But i wouldn't because your pc will definitely be future proof for at least 5-8 years. (Depending if game developers up the minimum requirements as consoles get better)
