Ok, i'm living in a hotel right now. I know I know, not the best way to live but it's all my family can afford :\ Either Way the owners are providing telpage services... SLOWWWW!!! Is all I have to say, I would appreciate any help. I would like if it's nothing with a 1 year contact, or a data limit. This is going be for a Xbox 360 only. I need it to be kinda like a mobile hotspot. But I really need it to be at LEAST 3.0 megabits download speed 0.5 upload speed and a low ping rate. Thanks!!!

Another option for you is to get a mobile internt stick from your local ISP vendor, but if you intend on using your xbox 360 i would suggest getting a cellphone with a large data plan, then teathering your signal and turning your mobile into...

I think you'l have to speak with the hotel owners/isp, I recommend running a www.speedtest.net and see your results, but it's not really within your power to make it go faster.

You really don't have alot of options since you are currently living in a hotel (i know that feel bro, been there done that).

Be sure to read the 'Fair Usage' policy, most ISPs etc will say it's unlimited but they have a Fair Usage policy backing saying only like 2GB etc

No cell phone provider will offer a "teathering plan". What you need is a plan with unlimited data, or a few gigs at least. This Link Here, shows the montly services available by straight-talk. If you are going to get a plan with a good amount of data, make sure that you also equip yourself with an android phone. To get this method to work, you NEED an Android to teather undetected.

Charlene S. from Phonearena.com made a post HERE, which talks about an app for android called "Clockworkmod". The author for this android app has also created a teathering app, which allows you to create mobile hotspots for a laptop without being detected by your mobile service provider. The post by Charleane gives a brief overview of the app.

Here is a link to the Developer's website. I have not tested this myself, but i have met people who use this method so I know it works. I would do a little more reasearch on the subject before making a final decision, but the choise is up to you.
