I can get this for $35 at NCIX Canada. Will this bundle be reliable and good for light gaming? Also, is the brand coolermaster a trusted brand for peripherals such as keyboards and mice? The keyboard is membrane, with "Improved Tactile Feedback."

I currently have a set of stock HP keyboard and mouse which is aging, so I just wanted a cheap but nice looking set.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of buying this bundle?

For $35, your getting a good value from that bundle.
Coolermaster are a good brand in terms of peripheral items, though are mainly known for their cheap mechanical keyboards more than anything else.

Advantages
+ Cheap
+ Better than whatever HP gave you
Disadvantages
- Dont really know what your buying, not much info on mouse and keyboard

What does it mean by improved tactile feedback. Is it "artificially" a mechanical keyboard?

EDIT: I found it for $25 at CanadaComputers, such a steal! How do mail-in rebates work and is this bundle too good to be true?

TBH, it probably means nothing more than marketing's way of adding another "feature" to the side of the box.

Mail in rebates, basically with the product you get a slip that you can fill out and mail to the manufacturer (or retailer, it depends) and hopefully they then mail you back however much it says on the slip.
Dont rely on them to go through though.

Seems like CanadaComputers changed their deal, cause it was $5 off + $10 Mail-in Rebate totaling to $25. Now it's $40, although it said the sale and rebate ended on August 31.

So, mail-in rebates don't always work and take a long time? Cause I see a lot of component parts "on sale" when they are actually rebates.
