Hello,

What operating systems are all the computers on the network?

I know there can be problems with XP reaching Win7 computers on a network.

Make sure all the computers are on the same workgroup.

For XP:
-Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
-In System Properties, click the Computer Name tab to see the workgroup name. To change the name, click Change, type the new name in Computer name, and then click OK.
Make sure this is in WORKGROUP

Then make sure your win7 computers are also in the same workgroup by:

- Open System by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
-Under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, click Change settings.
-In System Properties, on the Computer Name tab, click Change.
-In Computer Name/Domain Changes, in Workgroup, type the name of the workgroup you want to use, and then click OK. You will be prompted to restart your computer.

Give both computers a restart and then see if they can see each other.

When you say "access" what exactly are you trying to do?

From one of the windows 7 machines ping the XP machine either via its PC name or IP address.
