Computer Shutting Down Before Overheating During Games

My laptop just got its motherboard changed. It shuts down after a few minutes of gaming even though its temperatures are still below maximum (60-70). This has not happened before the motherboard replacement.

1. Condition A (automatic shutdowns) never happened before
2. You sent it off to have the motherboard replaced
3. Condition A happens

Ergo, they probably screwed up something with the motherboard replacement. Have them redo it.

They probably didn't re-apply thermal paste or the heatsink is not properly seated. Call back the store or company that replaced the board and ask them to fix it again because they didn't do a good job.
