Hello, i would like to ask some questions.
If I upgrade my system to 64bit and Ram to 8 GB would there be any performance improvments since i use a Quad Core CPU? Would there be any improvments in multicore efficiency? I also wanted to ask if I could use Higher resolution of textures. When I played Crysis 2 with MalDoHD 4.0 the VRAM usage was around 1010MB for dedicited memory and 180 MB (i have an HD 6870 1GB GDDR5). But if I upgrade my ram to 8 GB there could be an higher shared video memory and i ask if that could help a little bit(although i heard this type of memory is much slower than the VRAM)

Vram and system ram have no connection since you are using a dedicated graphics card, not the integrated cpu adapter. All the vram is on the 6870.

Added ram will have no effect on cpu efficiency.
More ram will allow the os to keep more code in ram available for instant reuse.
If you are doing heavy multitasking, then added ram will reduce the load on the page file device.

You won't gain any performance from the CPU persay, except for optimizations in the OS, maybe. Adding more memory to the system will allow for more shared memory to be used by the video card up to the limits of the cards addressing. (Usually 4GB absolute max, but I have seen cards max at 2GB)

Many modern GPUs, even discrete, will consume system memory when internal memory is exceeded. I know my GTX580s do. Steals 2.5GB from the system when I do crazy stuff, but usually just a few hundred megs during gaming.

AMD version is called HyperMemory.

I've seen mine do it before when I turn up the textures, so I can't really say what they use it for now since its release. I can't even remember what I was doing when I noticed it the first time.

But from the original release date it looks like the Geforce 6200 was capable of it.

This is really getting into seperate thread territory, but it seems that Windows Vista, 7, and 8 manage this aspect of memory management and will assign excess system memory to GPUs to avoid accessing the harddrive instead, at least that is what I think they meant. Coincidentally it is also called TurboCache.
