Windows 8 wi-fi stopps working`

So i just installed Windows 8 alongside windows 7 and i wans installing windows 8 it worked perfectly the software installed all was good untill i rebooted as soon as i went back in my wifi stopped working i want back into windows 7 and it works but when in windows 8 it dosent. i have tried many on the tricks online like diabling the device and restarting i installed all the correct drivers etc etc but still no i need serious help

My wifi adapter is a Tenda
Specs:
Amd FX-4100 overclocked to 4.2ghz
16 GB corsair ram
MSI 760GM-P21-(FX) uATX Motherboard
650W Powercool 80+ power unit
and a
AMD radeon HD 4890 XFX black edition

go to device manager
network adapter
select the wifi device and on right click go to properties
select the power management and uncheck " allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
then restart.
try this and see if it works
it worked fine with me
