I just got my self the gtx650ti boost, 2gb version, and when after playing gmod for well over 2 hours, i noticed a weird sound much like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYIPp9Wa9o8
Except not quite as loud. I'm certain its the graphics card, because when i alt-tab'd, out of the game it went quiet, then when i went back in it started hissing again, then when i fully shut down the game and restarted it i was able to continue it utter peace and quiet. As i said it only does this under heavy conditions. But i'm worried this could lead to future issues. I know i could rma it now, but it was such a pain getting the damn thing here, and i don't want to have to wait for another one. So my question is, what should i do? Should i panic? Should i rma? or should i just stay cool?

No way to fix it, I had a 9600gt back in the day that had horrible coil whine, one way I found to reduce the noise in certain situations was by turning vsync on. But if your under warranty still I would send it back and get a new one, you might have to wait for it to come back but at least it will stop nagging you.

That reminds me! I had 9600gt, too a while back!
I remember it hissing like venomous snake while playing empire total war :p . It lasted me about 4 years, before breaking down, i replaced it with a 440 and it hardly made any noise, so i grew used to having a silent gpu i guess . I should also mention i upgraded to a whole new rig aswell, i was reading that coil whine can be cause by the psu aswell. So if it matters here's my psuhttp://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Builder-Series-Watt-CX600... (I didn't buy it from amazon that was just the first thing i found when i looked it up)

If it does it at idle return it, if it does it at load just live with it. It's a common thing to have, chances are a replacement will be exactly the same, if not worse, I had to go through 3 PSU's go get one that didn't whine at idle.

As I said, it only does it under heavy conditions. So that means i have nothing to worry about right? :/
Also i would like to get some more opinions on this.

The card itself should be fine, it's a pretty common and annoying occurrence, your call on whether you want to send it back. I don't believe your in any danger of the card failing if you can put up with the noise.

Well i feel stupid now! I was pretty sure i had vsync on already, but turns out i didn't :p  Just turned it on for all my games, and it runs much more silent!
Also i don't mind having to use vsync since my monitor is 60hz only.
