First off, I'm new here, and this is my first forum post... so hey! :)

Over the past few weeks, I've been looking at upgrading my graphics card (currently a GT 630, yeah, I know...) and I'm stuck between a few cards.

My budget is about $470, and I've been looking at cards like the GTX 670, GTX 680, GTX 770 or the HD 7970.

I'm probably going to be getting the Gigabyte version of these cards.

What card is good for that kind of money?

Or am I better off waiting for Radeon 9xxx series?

I have an i5-2500k @ 3.3GHz.

I will be playing games like:

Battlefield 3
ArmA II (MAINLY DAYZ MOD!)
ArmA III
DayZ Standalone
(When it comes out)
Battlefield 4 (When it comes out)
Call of Duty: Ghosts (When it comes out)

And I will be doing a lot of record with DxTory for YouTube!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Solution
gtx770, relatively cheaper/ better performer, newer technology.

I hope you have at least a decent quad core i5 cpu in your system.

Ok, thanks for the help everyone! Looks like I'm getting the GTX 770! Now just on to the next topic I'll struggle with, with version? MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte or eVGA?

its all a matter of personal preference. I prefer asus personally because of the direct cu II cooler and how it looks. Gigabyte windforce 3x comes with slightly higher factory clocks, MSI is known to be the easiest overclocker, EVGA has the best reliability and support. None of those brands are bad in any ways. Get whichever is the cheapest.
