Recently my 1tb Buffalo External Hard drive enclosure died and being the waste not want not sort of person I pried the thing open and stuck the 3.5" drive inside my machine. As it turns out I cant access anything but the small partition for buffalo software and in Linux the bulk of the drive reads as empty (Windows wouldnt even acknowledge the full size of the drive) despite for a fact that I know there is plenty of data I wish to recover. I was wondering if anyone knew of a workaround for this.
