DHL shipping box was damaged, PC case was slightly dented one side, broken glass on the other.
Plug it in, fans spin for a few secs then it reboots. Visually, nothing wrong. Did all the standard tests, boot with nothing plugged in, then ram each slot, then vid card etc., reset bios. No change.
Don't yet have access to alternative parts or volt meter.
Anyone have experience with a dropped pc?

Was the package insured? If so, I'd suggest looking into that, because even if you got it working now, won't mean that there won't be problems later on that stemmed for their negligent handling of the shipment.
Does the motherboard have any diagnostic LEDs? You could try reseating the CPU as a last resort.

Thanks for the advice.
It was on a 250v supply before we moved. Now it's on 240v. Could the change have affected the psu? psu fan spins, front and mobo LEDs light.
Re insurance, I want to find out what is wrong first.
Took out the mobo to see if anything had fallen behind it, all looked ok. I'll try remounting all the bits and power on and off in between.
Then I'll try the breadboard method and reseat the processor.
If I get it running, I'll add a comment.
There are times when I don't like computers. Last time I didn't like them this much was when Bill Gates' backdoor in every Windows PC was announced. :(
