hi

which one should I get ?

Asus VG278H 27 inch 3D LED Monitor with Nvidia 3D Vision-2 Kit - 642.87 $

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC 3X 2GB GDDR5 Windforce 3X - 498.58 $

Intel Core i5-4670k Haswell 3.4GHz 6M LGA 1150 Processor - 267.86 $

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H LGA 1150 Motherboard - 270.72 $

G.skill Ripjaws-X 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 CL9 1.5v Dual Channel Memory Kit - 92.86 $

Total = 1772.88 $

or

Samsung S27A950D 27 inch 3D LED monitor 493.51$

Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7970 OC 3GB GDDR5 375.49$

Intel® Core™ i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz 6MB Cache Desktop Processor 250.33$

MSI Z77A-GD65 Socket 1155 Motherboard 168.08$

G.skill Ripjaws-X 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 CL9 1.5v 78.67$

Total = 1366.08$

I know the first setup is better in performance but it will cost me much more than the second setup,
so which one should be better in performance and value ?

thanks :D

Solution
700W is enough to power SLI GTX 770 let alone a single one. What is the brand of the PSU? Is it 80+ Rated? Bad PSU tends to cause problems that can kill your hardware. But, 700W is more than enough.

The 2nd one. performance different is slight. Though, out of curiosity, where are you getting these deals? It seems that you are getting overpriced on the CPU/GPU/MOBO and even the memory. I could get those 4 items for $1000.

Note: Assuming you are in my country, (Canada, BC) or USA. Else places such as UK/Asia, forget what I said about being overpriced.

that's the lowest price I could find in my country

I wanted to get SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB but it's Out of stock :(
and I'm still looking for MSI Z77A-GD65 xD

it looks like I'll get the first setup

now which psu should I get ?

Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 850W Plus Silver PSU - 140.22 $

or

SeaSonic M12II Bronze 850W 80 PLUS PSU 150.24 $

some say's SeaSonic is better than Cooler Master
but as you can see the SeaSonic is Bronze and the Cooler Master is Silver .

btw guys can I use a 700w psu with the first setup until I get the new psu ?

I mean if 700w psu is little for the setup could it burn any parts in the pc if I use it ?

thanks

it's hec cougar cm 700w which I have now
the problem is that it stopped working two days ago and to fix it I'll pay about 22 $

but I'm not sure for how long will it work or if it's okay for the first setup

so do I fix it and use it with the first setup or is it better to buy new psu ?

thanks

unfortunately it is 244 $

so I was looking at lower price Corsair psu and I found CORSAIR CX750M 750w 80 PLUS Bronze 126 $

what do you think about it ?

I found on newegg that there is not many users in comparison with SeaSonic M12II Bronze 750W 129$

thx
