Alright i have 2 choices. I have found 2 graphics card for sale, used. The GTX 670 DirectcuII (non-top) for 260$ or the XFX 7970 GHZ for 300$.
I plan to overclock the cpu but not the gpu, atleast for the moment considering it voids the lifetime warranty for XFX and the 3 year warranty for asus.
My system is an i5 3570k (that i plan to overclock), 128gb SSD and A 550W PSU <- One other factor in my choice.
I dont know which one to buy , if I should even buy used gpu.

No problem in buying used GPU. As long as it has not been overclocked extremely or cranked open too many times for thermal grease and clean up.

The HD7970 dude... seriously. That beast will wield SO MUCH MORE power than the 670 its not even up to discussion.

But its the XFX one... Ive heard so much bad stuff about the cooler, it breaking andshit. And i wasnt sure my 550W could handle a 7970 GHZ Edition

Of course it can. See for yourself: google "outervision psu calculator".

Man, i have an old 9800GTX+ 512MB GDDR3 256bits from XFX. The Black Edition one at that. I've overclocked that son of a gun to almost 33% over its stock clock and it held on preeeety well. Stock cooler from XFX!

XFX has nothing bad to it (at least not on the good old times from the 9000 series Nvidia)

Check on newegg and review sites for the model of the 7970 your looking at. I'm pretty sure that a 7970 has slightly better performance over a 670.

Im am comming from a gtx 460 and im looking for a used cards and those are the only ones ATM on Kijiji (Canadian Craigslist) in my area, Atleast that are not rip offs (Used GTX 680 475$ <- Nope.)

EDIT: Wait! A powercolor HD7970 just opened up for 300$ <- Same price as the xfx 7970GHZ but its only open box, never used.

I'm not sure what DirectCUii is but I'm pretty sure that the 760 is slightly faster than a 670 and there is also the perk of it being part of a newer series of cards.
