I see this question in a few places but not an answer that fixes it for me. Am reasonably computer stupid. Have a gateway A6-3600 quadcore 2.1 with onboard graphics AMD Radeon HD 6530D (2 year old system) I finally upgraded the memory from 4 to 16gb and now anything graphic intensive crashes with the message AMD display driver has stopped responding and is recovering. I've tried updating the drivers, reverting back to old drivers. Any help?

Do you have the latest BIOS, might be the rig doesn't like the DRAM or isn't ready for it, is the set of DRAM on Gateways support list, prebuilts are very picky about DRAM

The latest BIOS I am not entirely sure, I've done the gateway update and it found nothing needing updated (I assumed bios was included) Yes the memory is correct for the system.
