I recently purchased a laptop that came with windows 8. I'm not a fan and I planned on loading windows 7 onto it. I have windows 7 all set up on a usb to be booted off of but when I go into the boot menu the usb doesn't show up.Any ideas?

Fast BIOS mode is disabled. When I go to the boot menu only 1 option shows up. And when i go to boot priority it only gives me 1 option.

I have just done the follow tasks and this is the solution.
So first go into bios with F2 persistently pushed then in the advanced tab - Fast bios mode "disabled", reboot, go in the bios again in the boot tab you would be able to choose usb boot device option
