so I just put on the seidon 120 on my fx 6300 and to me my temps seem a little weird. at idle im getting 38c but while gaming only 45c. I feel like the idle temps should be a bit lower. idk what do yall think
idle temps is not what one should look at with cooling, its the load temps that matter. there really isnt any real gain on lowering idle temps unless its significantly warming up your room

okay cool. I was just wondering. it just seemed a little odd to me that's all. cause when I had the evo 212 on there my idle temps were a little lower but my load temps were wayyy higher
its probably the mass of metal that is keeping the cpu cool on idle. the cpu temperature is probably fixating itself with the ambient temperature of the water in the CLC

ohhh I see. thanks. one more question though. I have the water pump plugged into the 3 pin header on the mobo. are those automatically run at 100% cause in my bios I have no control over that header, only the cpu header and the header that's a 4 pin.
