I've run Dpc latency checker, and LatencyMon to figure out what the issues were, and I think I have found the culprit. It's related to drivers, but USB drivers? I have no clue
My specs are as follows:
i7 3930k @ 4.2
Sabertooth x79
16gb Vengeance @ 1600
320 GB WD Blue HDD
Evga GTX 660ti
Seasonic 650w Gold psu
Corsair H100i cooling
Creative Sound Blaster Z
These two images are screen shots from both LatencyMon and DPC. It's showing some bad stuff in regards to audio, and whenever I get popping, I see the DPC Lat checker turn red, or yellow.
I'm guessing because there is a USB Driver at 20ms and another controller at 13, that these are the culprits, however I have no clue how I would begin fixing them. I recently installed new USB drivers, and still no fix. I've tried headphones, a different sound card, and even put the Z into my roommates computer, he's had no problems.
I really hope it has nothing to do with the motherboard. I don't want to RMA
I'll try everything. If you say I need to do a clean reinstall of my OS, I'll do just that.
