So, I acquired a 128gb ssd, and after looking around a bit, I seen somewhere that at most 64gb are to be used as cache.

Well, thing is, 128gb is not nearly enough for my games, and since most are on steam I can't place some of them on the ssd and the rest on the HDD.

So, is it good to use those 64gb as cache and use the remaining 64gb for other non-steam aplications?

Solution

Use the 128 as OS and most applications. Use the HDD for the games.
You can tell Steam where to install things.
