Title says it all. Bought new ram and new mobo to replace dead mobo in previous build. Put them in, powered on, and nothing. System powers on, but no POST, no display, and no error beeps from system speaker.
I have done ALL of the following multiple times, so please dont ask me to do these again:
Followed all steps in "no POST" thread - no result
Breadboxed system, multiple configurations of hardware - no result
Swapped PSU with known working PSU - no result
Swapped CPU with known working CPU - no result
Reset CMOS - no result
Removed everything but PSU and speaker - no result
This seems to indicate the mobo is dead out of the box, but I would like a second opinion before admitting defeat because I literally do not have the money to replace the mobo AGAIN.
