Hi there! I have asked you guys before and I would like to get back to you cause I have a higher budget and I'll have to wait a few days cause the place where I buy parts from doesn't have everything in stock yet. Still time to make some changes!

I will play games on 1920x1080 and I would like to max the settings in games while I listen to music on youtube in the background. Had my last computers around 3-4 years and it seems to be a good spot to aim for.

I have an i5-750 cpu and a 5850 graphics card at the moment and I'm starting to get bad fps in games, also I'm getting this " lag ? " or atleast freezing frames every now and then.

I feel like my own research can only take me so far. And I would really like to get some more advice from you guys!
So let's look at the parts:

ASUS Z87-A ATX
There are so many diffrent boards. What I'm after is a motherboard that is very high quality but maybe I can save some money picking another one without sacrificing on the quality itself. I most likely wont use more than one graphics card and I don't use wireless.

And I see it everywhere now, it's almost feels like it's stupid not to overclock.
I was wondering, choosing a motherboard that can automatically overclock, is it good? Or should I do changes to the settings on my own?

Samsung SSD Pro Basic 840-Series 128GB
Install OS and perhaps the games I play the most? Everywhere I look I read nothing but good stuff about this SSD. Expensive but most likely an improvement since I never used an SSD before.

Fractal Design Define R4 Black
Cause I had the previous version of this and I had nothing to complain about on this case, and I also like the new changes to it!

Intel Core i5 4670K 3.4 GHz (Haswell)
Might aswell stick to the latest generation if I plan to have this computer for 3-4 years right?

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Seem to be a very cheap but decent performing cooler.

MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB TwinFrozr
The 770 seem to be in a very good sweetspot for performance vs price. The 780 cost so much more and the 760 might not last me that long?

3TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm SATA 6Gbit/s
Install games and programs here I guess. Storage. Always had Seagate, never hard a single one fail on me.

Crucial 16GB 1600Mhz Ballistix Sport
Now here I keep reading and get diffrent answers everytime, 4x4gb or 2x8gb?
I have gotten memory in the past that have failed and I had to send them back to get new ones, and it seems to happen to alot of people, so wouldn't it be better to get 2x8gb to make it easier to test them?
I know 8gb is enough for gaming but I want it to last for a while too.

Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze
Updated to Corsair, thanks Sn1992!

I'm from sweden so I cannot benefit from the deals on newegg or similar sites. I'm going to find the best price on each part on my own.

I'm thankful for any advice you can give!

Let's start by saving some money:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1327012
Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150 84W
ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87
SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 128GB (SSD)
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W
$567 after $10 MIR and $38 combo discount
Ya don't need HT for anything you listed so save $100 with the 4670k

I agree on the 770
MSI Gaming N770 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127741

Despite popular rumor, more RAM, faster RAM and lower CAS RAM is always better....it's just a question of whether the increase in performance is worth the increase in cost.
RAM - $140 - (2 x 8GB) Muskin CAS 9 DDR3-1866 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226382
RAM $80 - (2 x 4GB) Muskin CAS 9 DDR3-1866 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226223

Id up to the 3TB

You're probably right, I should stick to the i5 instead.

I've been taking a closer look at the motherboards, I saw the ASUS B85-PLUS and the Z87-K, shouldn't that be enough? Or is lower quality? It seem to run the parts I picked to its full potential. Unless I want faster than 1600 memory that is.

And the prices here, doesn't seem to be any diffrence 4x4gb or 2x8gb cas9
It does go up by alot if I pick 1866 instead of 1600 ram. Is it worth it?

Sorry but I can't buy from newegg, I live in sweden. I should have mention that in my first post. So I'm buying the parts one at a time.

What if I don't need room? I didn't touch my current since I got it. Is 600w enough?

Oh you mean I might need 750w if I O.C the GPU and CPU?

Ok thanks!

So can I use the latest gen AI Suite with this motherboard? Saw a video and it looks pretty awsome. Don't even have to go inside the UEFI. It overlocks CPU, set fans, voltages and use all the information and set it to the highest stable overclock with temps in mind. All this while in windows with a click of a button.
