On this monitor how bad is the input lag? I'll be playing games on it, but I wont be crazy competitive, but my mian concern is ghosting /streaking.

it has little ghosting but not that noticeable , is in the "satisfactory" results ... not good and not bad , in the middle .

For relatively light multiplayer and heavy single-player/co-op will it do fine?

I cant tell , it is a relative thing , some people hate ghosting at all , and some dont mind little , it is on the satisfactory level ... you cant say its bad .. it is acceptable , if you want a good gaming IPS monitor , there is one 3.4ms IPS from Eizo , it is the best in the workd for gaming 100%

this one :

http://www.eizo.com/global/products/foris/fs2333/index.html

read all and read after that specs ... it has 5 years warranty as well ..

nothing can beat it .

it is sold at provantage for $375

this Monitor is AMAZING. nothing like it world wide for gaming AND colors and viewing angles AND movies.

I don't really need a gaming monitor, and I kinda really want a 1440p one. I really won't be playing more than multiplayer for fun. not too hardcore

NEC is expensive :p
