Hey all!

A friend of mine is looking to get a new system given that his current rig is 5 years old and starting to come into a plethora of issues. He's looking to stay around the $500 mark. Primary use of the machine will be word processing, email, web browsing and other non-intensive processes. This will not be a gaming rig so we don't need a great deal of power in the GPU department.

As a bonus, I already own three sticks of Kingston HyperX DDR3 at 4GB per stick for a total of 12GB. I don't mind simply giving these to him for free so feel free to use those in the build. Also, no peripherals are needed - he already has a nice monitor, mouse, keyboard and more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks much!
