how to remove virus from mobile phone

Download the mobile AVG anti virus and install it? I don't know why people don't have anti virus on their phones these days as they are, in my opinion, less secure.

Edit: What ever you do, DO NOT hook the phone up right now to a computer. There are some viruses that are dormant in the phone alone, but as soon as hooked up to a PC, that's it's trojan horse on to a system.
