Windows 7 64 bit missing 1.08 gig of ram and i have blue screen of death bsod. Safe modes do not work at all, and none of the other options work either. So between F2, F8, AND F12, nothing works at all to move me forward.. The error says Bad_System_Config_Info, and 00000074 and maybe 4 other sub error codes that are real long. I noticed the ram was down to 2.92 gigs from 4 gigs for a few weeks now. Also, the battery icon has a red X through it and the wireless or network icon shows that it is not working or disconnected. I did try a few changes in Services and Startup before the BSOD. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, but system repair, system restore, system image recovery didn't work. Windows memory diagnostic ran but reboots when done and didn't fix anything. Toshiba recovery failed. I did get to the command prompt and then to diskpart, i found the partitions but every command i found didn't work, and i probably shouldn't be messing with that because i don't know anything about it. I did put new ram in because i read that losing ram is a symptom of some problem that mitht cause bsod, but it hasn't helped. I have a feeling it is an easy fix, but will need more help from someone. Thanks though.

I fixed it. I downloaded a windows 7 repair iso from a search on google. Made the repair cd. Loaded it and clicked system repair (that page was already up). About 20 seconds later it said it might have fixed a few things and to restart. I did, and it went to a new boot page. I was excited because it was different than f2, f8, f12, and 0. 2 options were to repair system or start normal. I chose repair system again. 20 seconds later it said restart. I did, and it worked. It told me that there was a registry problem. Thanks.
