^^^
I'm looking to get a computer from here.

Some things that I would want is at least 16 GB of memory, a 7950 and a NZXT Phantom 410 (or higher if possible). My budget is $2250 max. This includes Win OS as well. Would like to get water cooling if possible, if not a BeQuiet would be nice...

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Pretty soon

Budget Range: $2250

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, rendering videos, recording videos, editing.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes (23" or so is where I like it.)

Do you need to buy OS: Yes ( I want a Win 7 Professional )

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: http://www.bestbuycomputers.com.sg/files/pl.pdf

Location: Singapore

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU...

Overclocking: Probably

SLI or Crossfire: When upgrading in the future, possibly.

Your Monitor Resolution: The best possible, but the computer comes first, then the monitor.

Additional Comments: Side window, blue LEDs, black NZXT phantom 410 at least :)

If you want a 120Hz/144Hz monitor, either get the Asus vg248qe or the BenQ xl2420t. They have very similar specs but the BenQ is generally more expensive and Asus has some neat features like crosshairs and timers. If 24 Hz makes any difference, the Asus is the way to go. But if you want superior color then BenQ is the way to go. 24 Hz vs Color, your choice. Personally I would choose BenQ.

If you aren't a hardcore gamer, get a IPS monitor. The color in IPS monitors are far superior to TN and VA panels. The ghosting in most models aren't really noticeable unless you stare at a point and look for it. However, they only come in 60 Hz models which might affect the serious gamer. I suggest looking at the Acer H236hlbid, which is a very...

I suggest looking at the Acer H236hlbid, which is a very nice monitor and goes for $149 on newegg with free shipping. It's exterior also looks fabulous. It has a 5ms response time and uses real IPS panels unlike the e-IPS panels that dell uses for their 23" ultrasharp. If you want to go a step higher and spend more money, go for a 2560 x 1440 IPS. But you have to dish out a lot of cash for it.

Most people are much happier with IPS panels, unless you plan to be ultra competitive at FPS games.
