my laptop is intel core i7 8gb ram 750gb hdd, intel hd 4000 grapics inbuilt but with only 32mb of dadicated video ram,how should i increas it?

Solution

there should be something in BIOS under integrated video options. From what im reading its up to the mobo maker to put in gfx settings for Intel HD as intel integrated uses dynamic memory allocation based on what the application needs. I think the most you can actually do in BIOS is change the minimum amount used from 32 to 64, 128, or 256MB.

Found this useful tip for HD gfx, it may not help any but at least its something

download the proper version of intel hd4000 driver. The link above might help otherwise look for the correct version of the driver

the hd4000 itself is not a dedicated video card. It uses the shared system memory and computes graphical tasks. So I am not sure if you can essentially change the amount of dedicated vram since you dont have any dedicated video card
