I am upgrading my old PC to core 2 quad CPU, 4GB RAM but I haven't decided yet about a proper GPU that won't bottleneck my CPU.
I want to play MMO RPG/RTS/FPS games and use Adobe programs.
So I want to know which GPU will be the best choice for me. I have budget of 100-120$ for GPU.
Note: -My screen resolution is 1280x1024
-Please don't write that I can save money and buy new mobo and i3, i5 :)

gt650 would be plenty good enough.

BUT a new mobo etc. and the igpu on the i5 would be good enough for your resolution.

If I get 7790 , are you sure that it won't bottleneck any core 2 quad cpu?

I still don't know for sure because my friend will get parts for my PC, but I think it won't be nothing less than 2.5GHz per core. I would like Q6600 or Q8400 or something even better.

Btw, is there any specific model of that CPU that you advice me to look for?

No a core 2 quad u have is sufficient
If u wanna upgrade the cpu
upgrade to a ivy bridge as there is no point investing in a dead socket cpu
