Hello guys,i recently bought a PC,not the best one,but not too bad one either.Anyway my gpu is radeon hd 7750 2 gb and i am getting very low performance.Currently playing Assassin's Creed 3 and with everything on low settings and low resolution i only get around 20 fps, laggy as hell.I got the same performance on my old geforce 9800 gt.Now i noticed also that i don't have aero effects on,and that they can't be turned on,so i tought maybe it's a driver problem, but drivers are up to date. What should i do? I saw gameplays on this gpu with great performance, and the rest of my parts are solid,8gb ram, quad core processor an so on... Please help and sorry for long post. xD

your Frames make sense to me, your cpu is not very good for gaming( for some games it is, but for most its not) , your gpu is decent i would say, but assasins creed 3 is very demanding and also not optimized good on pc.

i have noticed myself that frames barely even differ from playing on max settings and low settings.

look at these 2 benchmarks

( those benchmarks might not be that viable to your case, seeing how they are on VHQ, but look at them just to get an idea, keep in mind that in the cpu one, they use a much better gpu then you, and in the gpu one, they use a much better cpu then you)

what is your quad core cpu model? and what is your power supply brand and model?

Have you tried complete uninstalling the 9800gt nvidia drivers before installing the hd7750?

Aero effects come back as soon as you run windows experience index test once

No need for unintstalling geforce drivers, this is a brand new pc,not my old one. Here is the full config,it's in serbian but i think you can understand.

Your problem is the GPU - you have to buy 7750 1GB DDR5. The GPU with DDR3 is atleast twice slower than DDR5. Your CPU is good. Just ask the store if they can replace the GPU with DDR5 version. And dont test with Assassin Creed 3 - its buggy as hell.
