Dr. Debug turns on then off

Hi,

I have an Asrock z87 Extreme 6 lga 1150 motherboard. I installed everything except for the os so far. When I boot the comp the dr. debug led goes through a bunch of codes for 2 seconds then turns off. Is this supposed to happen?

Yes it is, i used to have an Asrock with Dr. Debug and it cycles through some certain startup codes which is normal, if it stops with a single code and stays there, that's when you should worry.
