Hello, I am going to university in a few weeks and I have been looking for the right laptop to invest in that would be used for all classwork, media consumption, and possibly gaming. As I will be taking the laptop around with me and to classes, I would like it to be as portable as possible.
My price range is <850 $
At least 750gb storage, would prefer 1tb
Min 8gb RAM
I have been looking at the lenovo y510p, the cheapest model with a 1366 x 768 resolution and single gt750m GPU. I want to know if this resolution and gpu is worth buying for gaming or do I not have enough money available to get a decent gaming machine and should instead focus on thinner, better battery, and possibly a touch screen for win 8.
