Can my PSU handle a GTX 760?

PSU: PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk III 500W (80 Plus Bronze certified)

Planning on upgrading to a GTX 760 and I need to know if my current PSU can handle it.

Yes it can But you should usually get more than needed (maybe 550 watt supply) If you wanted to do overclocking maybe or just in general

Yes. The GTX 760 is a 170W card (14.2A @ +12V). The PSU should be fine. It is a good quality unit. I had that same one in the next size up awhile back in a build I did. Nice PSU.
